Color Trend SS14 - Blue Like The Sky

Every season has a color trend and for Spring/Summer 2014 the color blue will shine, literally. But attention! I'm not talking about any shade of blue, but that gorgeous shade of blue like the sky in a hot summer day. It's such an easy to wear color and it suits to every skin tone. So make sure you will have in your wardrobe some items in the coolest color of the season!

If you're still in doubt I made this list to tempt you. Who knows? maybe it'll be helpful 'cause besides that the pieces are in the color of the season, they are also very fashionable. I count on minimalism and simplicity.

Get Ready for Summer (The Dream Body)

● I know everyone has problems when it comes to their body. Especially during the summer when we want to look the best at the beach for example. There was a time when I had some extra pounds and I didn't care at that time. I used to eat whatever I wanted, anytime, anywhere without thinking how my diet affects the body. I don't know how it happened but it came the day I said "STOP!". I realized that I can't continue like this and that I have to take care of my body from all points of view.

● So I started a healthy diet, I went to the gym and slowly began to see the results. It was a tough time. No one said it's easy, but if you have ambition, determination and you really wish to make your dream come true, nothing is impossible. 

● My diet consists of several salads, water, teas and fresh juices. In the morning I eat dairy, seeds, cereals and fruits and for lunch I eat baked or grilled lean meat or fish with green vegetables. I never eat after 6 PM! Working out is very important for a toned and harmonious body. I work out every morning when I wake up and every evening. Just simple toning exercises.

● Sometimes you can treat yourself with your favourite dessert or anything you really like, but make it sure you don't exceed.

Now I'm a happy skinny bitch!

From Blonde to Brunette

I like changes and this time I did not hesitate to go from blonde to brunette. This happened spontaneously because I'm not the kind of person to plan something. When I want something, I want it now! I always wanted to see how I look with blonde hair and therefore I opted for the ombre style. I loved it but I realized that the brunette is more me. Now my hair is a shade of yummy golden brown and I'm very pleased about it. I'm sure there will be changes in the future because I like to experiment and try new things. After all that's what fashion's about - changes & evolution!

Iggy Azalea, Clueless and 90's Swag

When I saw Iggy Azalea's new music video, I noticed immediately the reinterpretation of the most iconic movie "Clueless". I think every 90's kid have seen this movie and I love how Iggy Azalea used that idea for her music video. Looking back at the 90's style, which I hated so much until now when fashion brings back some elements from that time, I kinda start to get obsessed with it.

Amy Heckerling created a bold new take on the modern girl amidst the sea of grunge that filled the 90’s. Wildfox’s Spring 2013 collection pays tribute to Heckerling, capturing the spirit of  “Clueless” and their iconic leading ladies.

Audrey Kitching Featured in Ladygunn Magazine

There was a time in high school when I was a scene kid. Do you remember the emo era? Well... a scene kid is the colorful version of the emo kids. On this period I was really obsessed with some famous emo/scene girls. Just one of the girls stayed in my sights 'till now. Her name is Audrey Kitching, the girl with the pink hair. She grew up since I was in high school and now she's such a lady, a very fashionista one. Why I'm talking about her now? Because I just find out a gorgeous photoshoot of her on the Ladygunn Magazine. Interiors: Black & White Minimalism

Beside fashion, clothes, shoes and so on, I have a passion for interior design. I noticed this black and white minimalist style mostly on Swedish bloggers. Since I started blogging, Swedish bloggers like Andreas Wijk and Carolina Engman were my source of inspiration and this way I learned that sometimes "less is more". So I discovered this beautiful apartment on tumblr and I fell in love with it immediately. I love everything about it. It has a beautiful grunge and sexy vibe. The apartment reminds me of the Swedish minimalist style which I adore. This apartment has a rockstar attitude!

Instagram Diary

When you're living in my country (Romania), it may be very hard to survive the winter. So I decided to not risk my life (or my shoes) and I just stayed home like a lazy bastard. I will show you, guys, how my life looks like these days through Instagram.

In the first photo is me in the garden, before the snow storm. The view was breathtaking. And in the second picture you can see that I got a new tattoo. it's a "D²", wich it's my parents initial. I made a pretty big obsession with the tv-show "American Horror Story", so I bought this Spelling book.

For the past few days I sat on the desk watching Barbie cartoons on the laptop, drinking hot tea. The desk is my favourite place from the whole house. I decorated it myself and I made it the corner where I can escape. Btw, I treated myself this morning with some Starbucks goodies. The perfect way to start the morning.

I must confess I'm a shopaholic, especially on the sales season! I bought some orgasmic accessories: Zara leather boots (Balenciaga look alike), studded Converse, an amazing leather backpack with studs and a super-duper cute "geek" beanie.

Miley Cyrus by Roberto Cavalli for Bangerz World Tour

I think everyone knows that Miley Cyrus is going to have an epic world tour. The interesting new is that Roberto Cavalli made some gorgeous costumes for her. You can see in the picture (below) the amazing sketches but I can't wait to see Miley actually wearing these outfits on the stage. She will rock them with some twerk moves, anyway. Haha :)

Bobby Abley Autumn/Winter 2014

I just discovered the London-based designer, Bobby Abley. He has a passion for Disney cartoons characters and you can see it in his A/W 2014 collection. I've always had a big attraction for all the Disney stories and when I saw this collection for the first time I remebered my childhood days. But the interesting thing is that I love the way Bobby Abley mixed these Disney character with a grunge, rebel attitude and the fetish elements.

Maybe you don't know much about Bobby Abley so here is a short bio from his website: Bobby Abley is a menswear Designer based in London. A graduated Ravensbourne College with a menswear collection that showcased a very singular view on fashion, his view, his obsessions, his fantasies and his abilities all mashed into one kitsched up, fetishized superhero scenario. Easy to imagine a graduate debut as a narrative flash in the pan but for Bobby Abley, the Mickey Mouse gimp mask, speech bubble prints and Teddy Bear logo, all carry a graphic sensitivity that acts as a filter offering a pointed, humorous approach to design.Whether it is spending days doodling a background for a tiny snow white badge (she ended up in Paris) or painting his constant outa space desire for an alternative existence, the commitment to pursue a very personal vision means that whatever Bobby does has an unique energy, a distinctive offering combined with well practiced skills, which even caught the attention and praise from a certain dame Vivienne Westwood. Stints working between Alexander McQueen and Jeremy Scott suggest the dedication to craft and ludicrous narratives. The tattoo homage to his dream girl "Ariel" and the repeated visits to Disneyland help feed an exuberant mix of the naive into a covert sexualizing of the colourful unreal.

The Burberry Spring/Summer 2014 Campaign

I'm obsessed with Burberry since I was a kid and I still have the same feeling now. The latest Burberry Campaign for the Spring/Summer 2014 collection is brilliant. Maybe some of you will say that all the Burberry campaigns look the same. Well, it's not true. This time they featured British cast of models, actors and musicians. Somehow, the new campaign brings an edgy, rebel, young look. It's something different from what we were used to see in a Burberry campaign where we had the feeling that the models are living in a perfect Burberry world. In this campaign you can see messy hair, piercings, relaxed poses and fresh faces which is something that I love. I admire the way Burberry manages to reinvent  itself with each passing season.

Sky Ferreira's Music

It's very rare to find a model who can really sing. Maybe you know the girl with platinum blonde hair who can rock any outfit with her rockstar attitude. Her name is Sky Ferreira. I've always been her fan as a model, but I had the surprise to discover her as a singer and she's not bad at all. All her songs are very personal and you can easily find yourself in the lyrics. So that's why I want to share with you, guys, my favourite songs of Sky Ferreira. Listen to them and let me know what's your favourite.
